Is it for me?
This course will give you a broad base in Sport with the scientific knowledge necessary to study Sport programmes at Level 3 and the opportunity to progress to a number of possible advanced courses in a variety of specialist vocational areas.
The aims of the course are to:
- Inspire and enthuse you to consider a career in the Sport sector Broaden and deepen your understanding of Sport careers
- Give you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the sector and develop your skills
- Support your progression to a specialised Level 3 Sport course or Apprenticeship
- Prepare you for eventual employment within a wide range of job roles
What you'll learn
You will learn the fundamentals about sport and will be given the understanding and foundations to progress onto one of our other sports programmes.
Any student who does not hold a GCSE at grade 9 to 4 or equivalent qualifications in maths and English by age 16 will need to continue to study these subjects in each academic year.

Practical sports clothing and a willingness to learn and engage.
