Suffolk Day: Request a Free Poster
Suffolk Day is the annual celebration of all things Suffolk, with a variety of events being held across the county to show off everything Suffolk has to offer! We are asking people with a connection to Suffolk to show their support towards our education services by putting their hand up for West Suffolk College.
RAW19: Graphic Design and Interior Design Show at The Apex
RAW19 is open in The Apex until Sunday 23 June 2019 on Mondays to Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
Staff Takeover - College Closed on Fri 5 July
Staff of West Suffolk College will be having their annual celebration on Friday 5 July, and the College will be closed to all visitors and students on this day.
Abbeygate Sixth form building work has begun
The new Sixth Form College will be sited on the upper playing field of King Edward VI School in Bury St Edmunds and will be accessed from Beetons Way. The new, innovative state of the art building will open in September 2020.
STEM Innovation Campus
Full steam ahead for the new STEM innovation campus to open in September 2019. The new campus, the College’s third site, will be based at the former global manufacturing Vitec Video Com premises on Western Way. The project is at the heart of the College’s visionary plans to create an ‘education triangle’, which also includes the build of Abbeygate Sixth Form College, in the grounds of King Edwards VI School opposite (set to open in September 2020).
International Festival of Learning
On 28 June West Suffolk College will be hosting the International Festival of Learning for it's second year! With a huge lineup of top speakers, the festival's theme is all about technology in education covering area's ranging from STEM to SEND to creative subjects, wellbeing and lots more!

Music Degree Students Partner with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
A collaboration between Creative and Commercial Music BA (Hons) and Live Sound BSc (Hons) and their education partner the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Suffolk Youth Orchestra came to West Suffolk College with help from our Music Degree students and put on a brilliant show for us.

Digital Engineering Technicians optomise the performance of built environment projects using digital models and software, sketches and electronic visualisations.
