Overview of course
West Suffolk College are offering the first two Units of the CIPS Level 2 Certificate in Procurement and Supply over a six week course commencing Thursday 23 May 2024.
This is the ideal starting qualification for anyone new to the profession or anyone looking to aspire to move into a procurement and supply career. Undertaking these two Units will give a solid grounding and upon successful completion of examinations will gain CIPS Level 2 Unit Accreditation and knowledge to progress with confidence to the CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply.
The modules covered are as follows:
L2M1 Introducing Procurement and Supply
Within this module students will understand the role of procurement and supply in organisations, identify common procurement terms and understand the impact of procurement and supply along with learning the 'five rights' of procurement and supply.
L2M2 Procurement and Supply Operations
Within this module students will study types of organisation, how they operate and contractual agreements and identify sources of information on supplier and learn pricing techniques.

CIPS Level 2 Unit Accreditation.
Further course detail
All costs include study packs and examination fees but not CIPS Membership. This fee is arranged by the student and paid directly to CIPS.
