Level 3

This Level 3 qualification is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to be able to appropriately coach and mentor others. The qualification is suitable for people who are teaching, coaching or training and/or who need to be able to coach and mentor individuals in a range of different settings. The qualification strengthens the employability of learners, and can, if already employed, lead to internal advancement or provide an entry point to new training/coaching roles.

An Advanced Apprenticeship is a job with an accompanying skills development programme designed by employers in the sector. It allows you to gain technical knowledge and real practical experience while being paid to do so. Along with functional and personal skills that are needed for your immediate job and future career you will learn through a mix of project based learning in the workplace, formal off the job training, and the opportunity to practice and embed new skills in a real work context.

The main purpose of a Customer Service Specialist is to be a 'professional' for direct customer support.  You will be an advocate of customer service who will act as a referral point for dealing with more complex or technical customer requests, complaints and queries.  You will gather and analyse data and customer information that influences change and improvements in service.

HR Professionals in this role are typically either working in a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function delivering front line support to managers and employees, or are a HR Manager in a small organisation. Their work is likely to include handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business; working with the business on HR changes. They will typically be taking ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law, giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk. In a larger organisation they may also have responsibility for managing a small team; this aspect is outside the scope of this apprenticeship and will need to be covered separately by the employer.
