About the course
- This course is a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy.
- The qualification has been specifically design to develop your practical skills in Swedish body massage techniques.
- This intensive paced part-time programme of study for Body Massage is suitable for students who are committed to a fast pace and 8 hours home study in addition per week
- Body Massage is a holistic treatment involving massage movements and pressure techniques which are applied to the whole body, face and scalp.
- These movements stimulate or relaxes the body, helping the body's systems to function and maintain a good state of health.

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies
- Provide body massage for complementary therapies
- All students will expected to attend College three hours a week on an evening and are required to complete course work and research in their own time.
- It is compulsory for all students to complete practical and written of 30 case studies, before they can gain the qualification and build a portfolio of evidence.
- There are two external papers that must be achieved for anatomy
Entry requirements
- Commitment in a face paced environment
- Commitment to home study of 8 hours and case studies and revision
- Willingness to massage members of the public and follow strict, PPE guidelines as per industry standard.
- A good level of English in both verbal communication and written skills
