Courtney Scarlett - Courtney is an advocate for safe riding and passionate about inspiring women to get involved in biking, once leading an all-female ride from London to Wales in the UKs first women’s motorcycling event.

Sonia O’Neil - Canadian born Sonia O’Neill is a professional footballer with Venezuelan, Italian and Irish roots. Sonia started her professional football career with a move to Europe playing for teams such as Roma, and Rangers FC. She’s currently play for ZNK Split in Croatia and representing the Venezuelan National Team.

Eastern Colleges Group Mental Health Awareness Week took place between Monday 15 to Friday 19 November 2021.

These sessions were run by some of our Wellbeing Champions so watch the live stream and meet some of the Student Wellbeing Champions.

Between 16 to 20 November 2020,  we marked our very own Mental Health Awareness Week where staff and students and local health organisations talked about what mental health means to them, plus our amazing celebrity guest speakers Rio Fredrika, Ched Uzor, and Dr Alex George sharing their own experiences.
