About the course

Anxiety can be a challenging condition that affects many individuals, and understanding its causes, effects, and management is crucial for promoting mental well-being.

 

In this online CPD course, your learner will explore the underlying factors that contribute to anxiety, including biological, psychological, and environmental influences. The course also covers the physical and emotional symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks, as well as how anxiety impacts daily life and relationships.

 

Your learner will learn effective self-help strategies for managing anxiety, discover treatment options such as psychotherapy and medication, and identify local resources for ongoing support.

 

This course provides your learner with essential tools for better understanding and managing anxiety in themselves and others.

Entry requirements

  • Be aged 19+ on the 31/08/2025
  • Learners must be a UK resident and legally living in the UK on the first day of learning.(proof required)
  • Due to Government funding criteria, we are unable to accept learners who live in London, Scotland, Wales, N Ireland, Ireland or a devolved postcode areas. Please check with us if you are unsure.

  • Identify the physical and emotional symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks
  • Recognise the impact of anxiety on personal health and daily functioning
  • Recognise the effects of anxiety on relationships with family, friends and colleagues
