Counselling is helpful at different points in peoples lives, including for their mental health, experiencing bereavement or loss, processing significant life events, or overcoming trauma. The Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills, is a great way to gain the knowledge required to help you to support people to improve their well-being and also gain a recognised qualification.
The course is designed to support learners that are using counselling skills as part of their functional role in a wide range of sector areas or are looking to progress towards accredited counsellor status with one of the counselling professional accrediting bodies.
The counselling skills in this course could prepare you for further study to become a qualified counsellor, with job roles such as Counsellor, Youth Worker or Psychotherapist.

The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is ideal for organisations who require personnel with some knowledge of First Aid, either because they work in small groups outside company premises, or as a back up for qualified First Aiders within the company.
This course may also be more suitable for lower-risk work environments, such as offices and shops and/or organisations with fewer than 100 employees.
The course commences at 9.00am and finishes at 4.30pm, at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds.
The fee is inclusive of learning materials and Qualsafe (QA) Registration and examination fees.

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work is a two-unit, two day course that will allow successful candidates to act as a first aider in their workplace. The Qualsafe blended learning package for the Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification combines online e-learning for theory with face-to-face classroom practical training and assessments. This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, allowing all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
The course commences at 9.00am and finishes at 4.30pm each day, at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds.
The fee is inclusive of e-learning package, learning materials, Qualsafe Awards (QA) Registration and examination fees.
