On receipt of your application we will contact you to gain further information regarding your course choice and career aspirations.
You will receive one of our online forms for you to complete.
We would like to find out what interests you in your chosen course and understand how it fits into your plans for the future and your reasons for wanting to study at West Suffolk College. We will also need to know if there are any circumstances which may affect your study, so we can ensure any support is in place before you start your course.
We’re looking for clear signs of motivation, commitment and organisation. There are no trick questions.
This is just one part of the admissions process, in some cases there may be a requirement for additional assessments or evidence of previous work.
How do I know if I have been offered a place?
The information you provide will enable us to inform you of your conditional offer. You will receive a notification of this via email within four weeks of submitting your online form. The conditions of your offer will be included in this email.
Keeping in touch
You will receive updates from Admissions throughout the year. You or your parents/guardians are welcome to call the College at any time if you have any concerns about your course.
If you move house or otherwise change your contact details, please let us know so we can keep in touch.
Taster/Pre Enrolment Event
You will have the opportunity to find out more about your course, take part in course related activities and hear about some of the exciting things our current students have been involved with.
Our Enrolment will commence in August after GCSE results day, this is an essential part of the Admissions process where we will confirm your actual course and level. You will receive a detailed Enrolment Guide nearer the time which will provide key information on our Enrolment.
This will take place in September and is an opportunity for you to gain all the information you need before you start your journey with us.
