About the course
In today's digital world, understanding how to navigate online spaces safely and responsibly is essential for your learner's well-being.
This comprehensive course will provide education providers with the knowledge to help your learner understand the online landscape, including the risks associated with various platforms and the concept of a digital footprint.
Your learner will explore strategies for creating strong, secure passwords, managing online accounts, and recognising common online scams. The course also covers how to protect personal information, build a positive online presence, and respond to negative interactions constructively. Additionally, your learner will learn how to identify and avoid online threats such as cyberbullying, online grooming, and propaganda, equipping them with the tools to stay safe and informed online.
Entry requirements
- Be aged 19+ on the 31/08/2025
- Learners must be a UK resident and legally living in the UK on the first day of learning.(proof required)
- Due to Government funding criteria, we are unable to accept learners who live in London, Scotland, Wales, N Ireland, Ireland or a devolved postcode areas. Please check with us if you are unsure.
