Apprentice of the Year for Commitment to Advanced & Creative Hair Professionals Diploma Level 3 - Joshua Easter
Josh Easter, 21 from Wetheringsett received the hairdressing apprentice of the year award. The Bimbo’s Hair employee has studied on a level two apprenticeship and he is nearing the end of his level three qualification.
He was recently chosen to join the Fellowship for British Hairdressers 2022 all-star club.
“For our industry, an apprenticeship is the best way forth (in my opinion). When I found out about the award I was coming back from London after watching a show and I was very happy. I rang my boss and told her straight away. I think this will definitely help me in the future. I’ve been here four years and I love coming in to the college to share my knowledge with students on other courses. The College has been one hundred percent supportive. In the future I want to continue working in salons as that is what I love.
“And in terms of my ideal client – I’m a bit obsessed with Happy Valley at the minute so my ideal client would be Sarah Lancashire – I love her hair – her fringe is gorgeous.”
