Is it for me?
The Pathway to FE programme focusses on preparing students for vocational training. Students on Pathway to FE will explore, develop and apply the skills needed to study on vocational programmes with increasing independence. The course aims to develop the confidence, resilience and independent learning skills to support learners with their transition onto further study. Students will also have the opportunity to further develop their maths and English skills.
Students will work towards gaining a BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Vocational Studies where they will study different vocational units. Alongside working towards accredited qualifications, students will be given the opportunity to participate in outdoor learning sessions.
Alongside working towards accredited qualifications, you will be given the opportunity to participate in Thrive sessions including Forest Schools, Independent Living Skills and ICT to further develop soft skills.
