850px princes trust 2019 2The High Sheriff of Suffolk awarded Prince's Trust TEAM 36 students with their completion certificates.

The latest cohort on our Prince’s Trust programme have celebrated their achievements at a presentation event this week – where the High Sheriff of Suffolk awarded the participants with their completion certificates.

The 12-week programme involves a residential visit with outdoor activities including raft building, caving and abseiling, a community project, an individual work experience placement and a team challenge followed by a final presentation to an audience.

The ‘Team 36’ cohort also completed classroom-based activities ensuring they all were all left with a bespoke qualification.

At the presentation event each student gave a presentation and a speech on why they joined the course, their favourite and most challenging parts and what they are looking to do in the future now that they have completed the course.

Lillie, one of the students collecting her certificate said: ‘I had previously done dance but I wanted to join the Prince’s Trust course to work on my people skills and to gain confidence. In the future I am now looking to gain work either as an outdoor instructor or as a Princes Trust team leader.’

Huge congratulations to those students who have completed!

All students are hoping to either study a course here at the College or to gain work in a Prince’s Trust team after their experience gained on the course.
