Last Wednesday some of our Level 1 Beauty Therapy students went along to Nowton Park in Bury to support the Christies Care Community Day, providing nail painting and hand and arm massage to adults with Autism and/or learning disabilities. The students arrived at 10.00am and worked through to 2.00pm and around 80-100 people attended throughout the day.

One of the Coordinators from Christies Care gave some really positive feedback and said: ‘I just wanted to extend a massive thanks to you all for helping make yesterday’s Community Day so successful! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and your students were wonderful – polite and friendly. It was really good to see them get into the spirit of the day and join in with some of the fun too.’
