Students from West Suffolk College took part in Mindfulness sessions that proved so popular they had to be held in a large studio at Abbeycroft Leisure Centre in Bury.
Just under 300 students attended the sessions given by higher education champion Phil Lambert. He said many students engaged really well and a lot of them thanked him.
The sessions, held throughout the day, helped provide strategies to deal with stress and anxiety and improve their mindsets.
Travel and Tourism student Charlie Rayner, 18, from Thetford, said “I thought it was really helpful I am going to use it before I go to sleep because I’m such a stresshead.”
Oscar Jones, 17, a Business Level 3 student from Ixworth, said it was” very good and very relaxing”.
