Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship

All full-time students aged 16-18 are expected to complete a form of placement during their time at West Suffolk College. This can be either a 315-hour Industry Placement or a regular Work Placement. Your child will be notified at the start of the year with what type of placement they will be expected to complete. They will receive continued guidance and support throughout the year to achieve their placement goals.

FAQ

Is my child expected to find their placement on their own?

Yes this is the expectation. There is, however, a dedicated Work Placement team that can offer support when needed.

Can my child work for my company?

This is fine if the company's industry is relevant to their course. However we do advise students to try and find a different employer.

My child has a placement sorted. What's next?

Their Work Placement Officer will need to be notified as soon as possible and they will need to upload the company details to Grofar.

I have seen lots of branding for T-Levels, what are they?

T-Levels are a classroom-based, technical study programme - sitting alongside A-Levels and Apprenticeships. They are designed to support entry to skilled employment in technical occupations at level 3 and above. Industry placements will be a mandatory part of new T Levels. West Suffolk College will start to roll out T-Levels in September 2021.
