4. We will invite you to an induction at the centre when we will ask you to complete your enrolment form. You must bring ID with you.
Are you a returning student?
You do not need to do another ESOL Level Placement Test. You can apply for your next level online or contact your centre who will give you details of when the courses start and the time and day of your lessons.

What ESOL courses do West Suffolk College do?
ESOL Skills for Life Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2 in Reading, Writing and Speaking & Listening, then you can go on to do Functional Skills English Level 1 and Level 2.

How long is the course?
Lessons in the classroom are 3 hours a week for 18 weeks. Depending on the current Covid-19 situation this may be part classroom and part online.

What will I learn?
Reading, writing, speaking and listening in English with others at your level. You will also find out about life and working in the UK which will help you to communicate in English in your daily life.

ESOL Skills for Life from Entry 1 to Level 2 then Functional Skills English Level 1 and Level 2.
