There’s no better opportunity than to be able to concentrate all your time developing your knowledge and technique during an art and design degree course. How else are you going to be brilliant?
The Art and Design programme at University of Suffolk at West Suffolk College comprises the BA (Hons) Graphic and Communication Design and the BA (Hons) Applied Interior Design.
Each is a three year, full time course designed to develop your understanding and skills and to prepare you for a career in either discipline, typically in an agency or studio environment.
Many students go into trainee positions direct from the course, building up to glittering careers either in a professional practice or working freelance in the UK or abroad.
Over the three years you will not only be developing your understanding of design concepts, history of design and stretching your creative capability, but you will also be working on live briefs through our network of industry contacts.
Commissions and work placements are both important aspects of the courses, as are field study trips to immerse yourself in the cultural side of the subject.
Assessments include a combination of portfolio, written and practical studio work.
