Do you have an interest in working in the engineering sector but are not sure how to get started? Then maybe a Traineeship is for you!

A traineeship is a flexible education and training programme with work experience that unlocks the great potential of young people, aged 16 to 24 and prepares them for their future careers by helping them to become work ready.

  • A Level 1 award in engineering
  • Hands on workshop experience
  • An 8-week work placement (240 hours)
  • A guaranteed reference from your placement
  • Up to Level 2 functional skills Maths & English Qualification
  • Level 1 Award in Employability Skills

What's involved?

Programme to run from 20 April for 15 weeks, covering subjects such as preparing to work in engineering, hands on workshop experience, an eight week work placement (240 hours), employability skills, a guaranteed reference from your placement, plus maths and English skills.

  • Step into Childcare (Haverhill)

    Childcare Traineeship (Step into Childcare)

    The Step in Childcare traineeship programme is the ideal opportunity for anyone who is looking to start a career in a nursery or pre-school to gain valuable qualifications and work experience. Students will achieve certificates in Paediatric First Aid, Food safety in catering and complete an introduction to early years course alongside the chance to do two days per week work trials within a local nursery or playgroup. 

    The course lasts for approximately 20 weeks and students will also gain maths and English qualifications if they do not already have them. The aim of this course is to help students make the move in to either paid employment or a full apprenticeship and students will be supported throughout  by our experienced team.

    Programme to run in total for 20 weeks, covering subjects such as Introduction to Early Years, food safety in catering, paediatric first aid, plus maths and English skills.

    The Step in Care traineeship programme is the ideal opportunity for anyone who is looking to start a career in the care sector. 

    A traineeship is a flexible education and training programme with work experience that unlocks the great potential of students, aged 16 to 24 and prepares you for future careers by helping you to become work ready.

    By completing a Step into Care Traineeship, you will gain:

    • Level 1 award in Preparing to work in Social Care
    • Certificate in Care knowledge
    • An 8-week work placement (240 hours)
    • A guaranteed reference from your placement
    • Up to Level 2 functional skills Maths & English Qualification
    • Level 1 Award in Employability Skills

    What's involved?

    Programme to run from 25 February to 5 June for 15 weeks, covering subjects such as preparing to work in social care, certificate in care knowledge, an eight week work placement, employability skills, plus maths and English skills.

    Ipswich (IP-City)
    Induction: 10 February 2020. Inductions start w/c 10 February on a day and at a time to suit you. 
    Start Date: 25 February 2020, Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm).
