Vacancy Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Technician Apprentice to join a growing company. On a daily basis you will assist in supporting our customers’ systems which are made up of Microsoft based networks of 20+ PCs. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge, skills and experience in all areas of IT support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Attend onsite visits and carry out routine machine checks
  • Assist with the deployment of new equipment
  • Provide proactive support by monitoring and responding to notifications about our customers’ systems
  • Assist with first line support to customer via phone, email and live chat

Your achievements will include:

  • First line and troubleshooting experience
  • The soft skills needed to deal with employees at all levels within an organisation
  • Understanding how an IT system works and how to prevent problems
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience within an outsourced IT company
  • Ability to multitask and deal with multiple support requests
