Overview of course
Release the stresses of the day with a gentle programme of posture work, breathing, guided relaxation, and yoga philosophy.
What will I learn?
To learn self-awareness, how to relax mentally and physically and to gently stretch and tone all parts of the body. To improve self-confidence, flexibility and promote health in an enjoyable way. A good way to relax after a busy day - with ways of helping you to relax at home.
Who is the course for?
Will I have to provide anything?
Bring a good yoga mat or thick blanket, at least as long as your body. Yoga 'sticky' mats are a good investment and are readily available. You will also need a blanket for relaxation and possibly a cushion or block to sit or rest your head on. Also a strap, belt or scarf to help 'reach' in some of the postures. Loose non-restrictive clothing such as a tracksuit, leggings, shorts or leotard. Socks and jumper to keep warm during complete relaxation.
