About the course
This GCSE course is a one year intensive course for adults.
The course is fast paced, so good attendance is required to ensure you keep up with the content. It is a popular course for people looking for a career change or looking to meet the requirements to have a GCSE for further study.
- Paper 1: The sociology of families and education
- Paper 2: The sociology of crime and deviance and social stratification
This will be an evening class 6-9pm term-time only.

Exams will take place at the university studies and professional development building in Bury St Edmunds in June 2024.

How much will it cost?
This course is fully funded if you are unemployed or on an annual income of less than £20,319. Otherwise the course will be part funded with a total cost to you of £395 which includes cost of learning, resources and examinations.
