Overview of course
This course will extend your basic knowledge of the camera and photography. Camera control will be explained including: Ae lock, Metering and Manual settings. Subjects will also include colour temperature and white balance.
What will I learn?
This course will teach you work flow in photography. You will increase your technical knowledge, including metering, exposure hold, white balance, lens distortion and manual shooting mode. In the following weeks you will have a taster sessions in portraits, still life and panning The first four sessions will be in the photographic studio with the fifth and final session editing images in Photoshop.
Who is the course for?
For those who have good knowledge of the subject or have completed a beginners course.
Please note that if you do not understand the basic link between ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed, and are NOT using at least Aperture and Shutter priority, then this course is not for you
Will I have to provide anything?
Please bring your camera, with battery fully charged & lead. If you are using a compact camera it would be wise to have a manual setting with access to Aperture and shutter speed control.
Access to the main college car park is via Beeton's Way (IP33 3TT). At your first session please go to Main Reception in The Gateway where you will be met by the tutor or directed to your classroom.
