About the course
Suitable for learners who seek careers in film and television. The course provides exciting opportunities for hands-on experience of moving image production through practical projects. The course operates an in-house production studio which acts as a commercial production house taking on projects from external clients. This gives learners real world experience in the media industry where they will develop a strong show reel ready for employment/university.
The requirement is five GCSE's at Grade C or above, including maths and English at Grade C (4), or a media related Level 2 diploma, graded merit or above and 90% attendance. Alternatively relevant evidence of work experience will be taken into account. Applicants must have an active interest in Film Production.
The College offers a wide menu of Level 3 Diplomas. We will work with all learners in their first six weeks at College to place them on the appropriate Diploma programme that best meets their individual needs and best ensures their success.
