Overview of course
An informal and fun class to follow on from Spanish year 1 which will help you continue to develop your Spanish language in basic everyday situations.
What will I learn?
A dynamic course which will enable you to reinforce the knowledge acquired in Year 1 and increase your understanding, fluency and confidence. Although the emphasis will still be on developing speaking, listening and reading skills, basic grammar will be taught more thoroughly to give you a solid base in the language. Writing will mostly feature as homework. The lessons will ensure that you master pronunciation and simple phrases for everyday conversation. The lessons will include a variety of activities and resources aiming to give you excellent opportunities to practice your language skills. The topics will include some of the following: - Shopping - Making appointments - Emergencies - Talking about your home - Talking about the past - Talking about your future plans - Giving an opinion - Restaurants
Who is the course for?
To join this language class you will need to have completed Spanish Year 1 course and Spanish Year 2 Part 1 or have a knowledge of the language.
Please contact us if you are unsure about your level and we will be happy to advise you.
Will I have to provide anything?
The tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid. Pen and paper.
Access to the main college car park is via Beeton's Way (IP33 3TT). At your first session please go to Main Reception in The Gateway where you will be met by the tutor or directed to your classroom.
