Overview of course
Following on from the Beginners (Year 1), Year 2 and Spanish for Improvers, the Lower Intermediate course will build on your vocabulary and grammar and will help reinforce your knowledge in the language and to deepen your understanding of Spanish culture.
What will I learn?
The key aspects of this course will be to further develop more complex conversations, listening, reading comprehension and grammar, which will give you a solid grounding in the language. Writing will mostly feature as homework. The lessons will ensure that you acquire an accurate pronunciation. Topics will be varied but always linked to the study of different aspects of Spanish life and culture. There will also be the opportunity to study a topic of your choice if you ask the tutor at the beginning of the course.
Who is the course for?
This course is suitable for people who have completed the Beginners (Year 1), Year 2 and Spanish for Improvers, although students who have studied the language previously, if not recently and are able to speak about a variety of everyday topics are most welcome to join the class. You should be confident in the use of the present, future and past tenses.
