Overview of course
An informal and fun class which will help you develop a basic grasp of the Italian language.
What will I learn?
A dynamic course which will enable you to start communicating in a new language from the first lesson! The emphasis will be on developing speaking, listening and reading skills although some basic grammar will be taught. Writing will mostly feature as homework. The lessons will ensure that you master pronunciation and simple phrases for everyday conversation. The lessons will include a variety of activities and resources aiming to give you excellent opportunities to practice your language skills. The topics will include some of the following: - Greetings - Introducing yourself - Ordering drinks - Asking directions - Shopping - Booking a room in a hotel - Asking for tourist information - Using the present tense - Likes and dislikes - Ordering food at the restaurant
Who is the course for?
Students should have completed Italian for Beginners Part 1 or have some very basic knowledge.
Will I have to provide anything?
The tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid. Pen and paper.
Access to the main college car park is via Beeton's Way (IP33 3TT). At your first session please go to Main Reception in The Gateway where you will be met by the tutor or directed to your classroom.
