Overview of course
An informal and fun class to follow on from Spanish Year 2 which will help you continue to develop your Spanish language in basic everyday situations.
What will I learn?
A dynamic course which will enable you to reinforce the knowledge acquired in Year 2 and increase your understanding, fluency and confidence. Although the emphasis will still be on developing speaking, listening and reading skills, basic grammar will be taught more thoroughly to give you a solid base in the language. Writing will mostly feature as homework. The lessons will ensure that you master pronunciation and simple phrases for everyday conversation. The lessons will include a variety of activities and resources aiming to give you excellent opportunities to practice your language skills. The topics will include some of the following: o Shopping o Making appointments o Emergencies o Talking about your home o Talking about the past o Talking about your future plans o Giving an opinion o Restaurants
Who is the course for?
Students will need to have completed Year 2
Will I have to provide anything?
Pen and paper. At the first class, the tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid.
