About the course
Level 1 will suit you if you're starting out and want a good basic understanding of the industry - you may still be at school and preparing for GCSEs or an apprenticeship. You want a qualification that can help you with ongoing study or to find your first job in hospitality.
You complete a number of core units from a range that includes:
- Healthy eating
- Front office operations
- Guest services.
Qualifications
Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to the Hospitality Industry (7107-22)
What you'll learn (core modules)
You'll cover things like:
- Customer service
- Serving food and drink
- Healthy eating
- Using kitchen equipment
- Basic food preparation.
This qualification gives you greater flexibility when studying and allows you to transfer credits across qualifications. You will be awarded credits for each course of study you complete.
