Overview of course
This course will provide you with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation surrounding mental health.
The course duration is a total of 5 hours. This compromises of 2 hours delivery and 3 hours of self study. The qualification is assessed by a professional discussion with the Instructor and evidenced by a recorded video call.
The date for the training session will be Tuesday 18 April 2023 from 10am - 12pm.
This qualification is available to learners aged 18 years or over. Learners must have the literacy skills to be able to read and self-learn the reference manual and additional resources.
Instructor will then follow up individually with delegates to arrange the 1-2-1 Professional discussion assessment.
Entry requirements

Qualifications
An Award in Awareness for First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. This is accredited by FAA (First Aid Awards)
This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. The learner will need to complete the full course again to re-qualify for a further three years.
