Overview of course
These qualifications cover the advanced knowledge and understanding of the principles, methods and technology involved in a range of engineering disciplines.
They are for individuals who need recognition of their competence in one or more of a wide variety of Engineering Maintenance activities.
The mandatory units are assessed externally in your workplace on a 1:1 basis. Assessments will test practical skills and knowledge of the optional units. Guidance is provided for each unit to ensure evidence can be captured and demonstrated.
Entry requirements
Learners must have suitable levels of literacy and numeracy to comply with the health and safety aspects of the scheme. Learners must also be in a suitable role to be able to obtain all the evidence required.
