Overview of course
Each session the tutor will demonstrate a predetermined flower arrangement, following which students will then undertake their own arrangement with live online tutor guidance and advice.
The software for the delivery will be 'zoom'. Before the first lesson you will receive joining instructions by email.
What will I learn?
We aim to equip you with the practical skills necessary to design and construct a variety of arrangements therefore building confidence and develop your creativity.

You will need:-
x1 block of green oasis (for fresh flowers)
x1 green florist round dish (to sit inside the basket)
x1 basket (size and colour to be chosen by student)
Pot tape (for securing the oasis in the dish)
A nice mixture of seasonal, complimentary flowers and foliage
x2 sheets of tissue paper (colour of your choice)
x1 meter of clear or patterned cellophane

Who is the course for?
Students who have an interest in floristry.
Will I have to provide anything?
Internet connection, device such as laptop, PC, phone. Basic IT skills to enable joining online sessions.
Other basic equipment including:- scissors, secateurs, notebook, tape and wires. You will be required to supply all your own plant materials, accessories and equipment. To keep costs down we will use supermarket flowers. Foliage can also be gathered from you garden.
The tutor will inform students of requirements one week in advance of each session.
