Overview of course
This is a friendly and practical course for students who wish to extend their knowledge and ability of working with clay. It is essential for people who had previous experience and knowledge of working with clay, or ideal for those progressing from the beginner's classes. Teaching will be mostly on a one-to one basis with the individual students needs taken into consideration. This is a great opportunity for some personal uninterrupted creative time.
All WSC Pottery Classes are now held at the Milburn Campus, Anglian Lane, Bury St Edmunds (Sat Nav IP32 6SR). There is ample parking and easy access.
What will I learn?
The aim is to learn more advanced hand building, wheelwork and decorating techniques on individual own creations.
Who is the course for?
Suitable for those with prior experience or those progressing from the beginner's classes.
Will I have to provide anything?
Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. It would be advisable to bring your own apron and a notebook and pen with ideas of your own projects you wish to make (assistance from the tutor will be given on a one-to one basis as to how to create your pieces of work).
