Overview of course
Create wonderful lanterns using various recycled glass containers like pasta sauce, mayonnaise and coffee jars. These can be covered with tissue paper, glitter glue and add a silhouette of your choice to create colourful themed lanterns that you can illuminate using either candles (wax or battery) or light strings. These can be turned into decorative pots to hold flowers, pens or sweet gifts. Used as night lights for children by adding the battery operated candles or for those evenings sat in the garden or as mood lighting around the house.
The finished item can be embellished with glitter, beads, acrylic gems, string and ribbons to give them a bespoke look turning them into gifts for family and friends or handcrafted decorations for your own use.
The lanterns can be seasonal or follow a theme. Created to use as party favours, wedding centrepieces or garden parties, the uses are endless.
