Overview of course
This 'Small Businesses - Start-Up, Business Ideas and Reaching Customers' course is aimed at those with a business idea and who are considering starting-up their own business or have recently started up a small business. This course will give you all the information you need to help you decide whether this is the right move for you or to point you in the right direction if you are already up and running.
What will I learn?
You will identify the skills needed to run a business, identify the research required to get you started and you will consider a business start-up checklist. You will be provided with an easy business plan template and guided through the various stages of business planning so that you can start your very own business plan. Your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including one to one guidance and group discussions to support you in achieving your goals. The course will be taught in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, which will try to cater for your individual needs. Your tutor will provide feedback throughout the course.
