Overview of course
These packages of short courses are designed for anyone associated with sales, marketing and business development and cover the key building blocks necessary to guarantee sustainable sales results.
Unlocking the Mystery of Sales consists of 3 stand-alone units which you can choose to pick and mix or undertake all three.
- Sales, Strategy, Planning and Preparation (2 hours)
- Sales Pipelines (1 hour)
- Guaranteeing Measurable Results (2 hours)
All units will be run via an online method of delivery (Zoom or Microsoft Team). Sessions will be interactive and engaging and led by a very experienced and knowledgeable associate lecturer.

Details of the units within Unlocking the mystery of sales are as follows:
Sales, Strategy, Planning and Preparation - Monday 13 July 2020 - 10am - 12pm
This unit includes how to prepare for success and put an effective sales presentation together. Planning includes creating efficient territory plans where appropriate, setting long term, med term and short term business and personal goals, plus how to set effective targets using sales forecasts. The unit also explores how to priorities customers and activities to grow account value and maximise return on time and capital investment and GOSPA (Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Priorities and Actions) Principle.
Sales Pipelines - Monday 13 July 2020 - 2pm - 3pm
Properly understanding what a sales pipeline is, how to take ownership of it and how to use and control it are key to proactively selling. This unit breaks the process down into 4 clear easy steps necessary to ensure sales success. This unity also includes ways of taking ownership and maximising opportunities for those who follow up rather than generate their own leads.
Guaranteeing Measurable Results - Friday 17 July 2020 - 10am - 12pm
Your guide to setting, controlling and achieving realistic sales targets and budgets in line with your organisations capabilities, vision and values. This unit provides you with a very simple highly effective tool that is easy to use to monitor your sales activity. By the end of this session you will be able to properly analyse your sales activity using the KCPS principle which will help you identify best practice, what areas you can improve on and crucially will enable you to see best practice and exactly what activities are needed each day to set and achieve your goals.
