Overview of course

These packages of short courses are designed for anyone associated with sales, marketing and business development and cover the key building blocks necessary to guarantee sustainable sales results.

 

Cold calling made easy consists of 4 stand-alone units which you can choose to pick and mix or undertake all four.  

 

  • Getting potential customers attention & interest (1 hour)
  • Overcoming the fear of cold calling (1 hour)
  • Getting past the gate keeper (1 hour)
  • How to handle objection & close the sale made easy (2 hours)

 

All units will be run via an online method of delivery (Zoom or Microsoft Team).  Sessions will be interactive and engaging and led by a very experienced and knowledgeable associate lecturer.

Details of the units within Cold calling made easy are as follows:

 

Getting potential customers attention & interest - Friday 17 July 2020 - 2pm - 3pm

 

This unit looks at how to gain attention and interest from prospective customers when you first engage with them and how to 'be always selling' making the most of every opportunity.  Activities include putting together your own initial attention grabbing approach and elevator pitch

 

Overcoming the fear of cold calling - Monday 20 July 2020 - 10am - 11am

Exploring the psychology of our fears of rejection and how we tend to use displacement activities to avoid making calls, this unit provides understanding and the tools to overcome fear and make calling a desirable rewarding activity.  The session provides urgency, structure, purpose and the need to plan alternative outcomes.  Suitable for anyone making phone calls as part of their job.

 

Getting past the gate keeper - Monday 20 July 2020 - 2pm - 3pm

This unit will help you on your journey towards becoming an expert at getting to speak and engage with decision makers.  The session includes understanding the value to you of a gatekeeper, how they can help you to follow up from the initial call and handle objections.  How to set outcome goals for calls and an activity to put your perfect personal initial pitch together.

 

How to handle objections and close the sale made easy - Friday 24 July 2020 - 10am - 12pm

 

Learn how to use and adapt a range of techniques to draw-out and overcome sales objections.  This unit includes APAC, a tried and tested formula for success in understanding and overcoming objections, closing and consolidating the sale.  The unit includes Closing sales - Become attuned to verbal and non-verbal buying signals and move to close at an appropriate point in sales conversations and how to develop ethical techniques to close sales and gain a commitment.
