Overview of course
This short course in Leadership and Team Skills provides team leaders with the core skills to enable them to lead their teams successfully, to allow them to adopt motivational techniques to get the best from people, to give them the confidence to tackle difficult issues, like underperformance, and provides them with the tools they need to develop as a leader. It provides an introduction to the role and responsibilities of a team leader and is an ideal starting point before moving onto ILM qualifications.

· To allow leaders to get the best from their team members â€“ transactional and transformative managing styles.
· Plan and allocate work and how teams are formed.
· How to manage stress and change in the workplace.
· Gain confidence in how to deliver difficult sessions.
Who is the course for?
New and aspiring managers.
There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be practicing or aspiring team leaders who have the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the qualification.
