Overview of course
There are various start dates during the academic year. Attendance is required at a training day / induction, after which all other learning and assessment is arranged on an individual basis.
The start dates for the 2018/19 academic year are Wednesday 16 January 2019 (Ipswich) and Wednesday 24 April (Bury St Edmunds).
This 15 credit Certificate is designed for practitioners who are responsible for leading internal quality assurance practice in their organisation. It is suitable for you if you lead a team of quality assurance staff, such as a lead internal quality assurer for an assessment centre. It comprises the two units from the Award plus a generic management unit in which you demonstrate competence in leading team of quality assurers, planning, allocating and monitoring of their work.
There are no formal academic entry requirements but you must have made arrangements before the course starts to have assessors to monitor.
Further course detail
This course starts with a full day in College to start to find out about the principles and practices of quality assurance. After that learners study on a one to one basis with their allocated assessor who will support any learning or development required.
