Overview of course
There are various start dates during the academic year. Attendance is required at a training day / induction, after which all other learning and assessment is arranged on an individual basis.
The start dates for the 2018/19 academic year are Wednesday 16 January 2019 (Ipswich) and Wednesday 24 April 2019 (Bury St Edmunds).
This is a 6 credit Award intended for those who wish to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internally and externally assuring the quality of assessment, without any requirement to practice. It is suitable for you if you are wanting to move into a quality assurance role but do not yet have an opportunity to practice in this area, or if you simply want a better understanding of the processes and practices for quality assuring assessment. Those who need to know about quality assurance, but never intend to practice, for example managers, are able to learn about essential principles and practices by achieving the knowledge unit only.
There are no formal academic entry requirements.
