Overview of course

This is a one day course for those installing unvented hot water systems to comply with Building Regulations. Successful completion of this course is through assessment of a delegate's competence in this specialised work area.

This is a five year renewal qualification.

This is a classroom based course and is delivered by our well qualified, experienced and knowledgeable tutor.

The course fee of £245 includes training, assessment, the certification fee, a course manual, refreshments and lunch.

Entry requirements

This is a five year renewal qualification. As a minimum requirement delegates must have NVQ2/C&G in any of the mechanical services before attending this course.

Qualifications

Non-Accredited NICEIC Certification upon receipt of photographs/National Insurance number and successful completion of the assessment.

  • History and options for domestic hot water systems
  • Type and working principles of UHWSS
  • Design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault diagnostics of UHWSS (as applicable).
