What will I learn?
You will learn basic elements of photography, such as the relationship between ISO, aperture and speed of shot, (how much light is allowed to enter the camera to create the picture). This will help you to understand which setting to use on your camera. You will look at how to get the best out of your camera and the technical side of shutter speeds, apertures, and different lenses. Finding out about composition - what makes a good photograph? Taking a look at studio lighting and how to use it to create very different effects. We will look at examples of successful work to support your learning. By the end of this course students should have the knowledge to better control how their photography turns out rather than pointing, clicking and hoping for the best!
