Programme Support Tutor – Employer Engagement

Permanent: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £20,870.64 - £22,943.16 depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Programme Support Tutor to join Employer Engagement Team (Work based learning support team) here at West Suffolk College. We are looking for someone who is vibrant, enthusiastic and dedicated to helping students with different neurodiverse needs achieve their goals. This position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our Apprentices.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to travel as this role required extensive travel across the East of England.
- Supporting Learners with Additional Needs.
- Utilising CognAssist (learning support software).
- Consulting with Programme delivery teams.
- Contributing to the successful achievement of the learners.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
- Ideally Level 3 (or above) in Learning Support/Mentoring/Teaching Assistant.
- Experience of working with individuals with learning differences and/or mental or ill health.
- Ability to work with learners of all ages and abilities.
