Building Services Technician – £6,838.30 - £6,973.25 (Full time range: £15,813.57 - £16,125.66) - 16 hours per week, West Suffolk College – The Milburn Centre - Bury St Edmunds –Permanent


The Milburn Centre needs a professional technician to join their team. The right candidate will have working knowledge of electrical installations as well as practical experience in Electrical and/or Plumbing.

The Milburn Centre is a community that encourages all students to enhance their learning through wider opportunities and support services. Our aim is to maximise achievement and secure progression onto further study and employment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure workshops are all prepared and stocked up for students and teachers
  • Take ownership of stock levels, ordering etc

Required qualifications, skills and experience

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Good IT skills
  • Up to date industry experience
  • Ability to relate to young people is essential
  • Previous experience of working in an educational setting with young people would be an advantage.
